박수열(SuYeol Park) 박수열은 한국예술종합학교 실기과를 졸업하고, 대구가톨 릭대학교 통합예술치료학 박사를 취득했다. 모던테이블 현대무 용단 창단멤버로서 활동하였고, 대구가톨릭대학교 통합예술치료 학과 대학원과 무용학과에서 이론과 실기를 가르쳤다. 현재 수 무브 단체를 이끌고 있으며, 안무가로 활동하고 있다. 이를 통해 무의식을 다루며 내면 이미지의 시각화와 깊이를 더한 안무작업 을 이어가고 있다. Park Su Yeol graduated from the School of Dance at the Korea National University of Arts and earned a Ph.D. in Integrated Arts Therapy from Daegu Catholic University. He was a founding member of the contemporary dance company Modern Table, where he was actively engaged as a performer and creator. He has taught both theory and practice in the Graduate School of Integrated Arts Therapy and the Department of Dance at Daegu Catholic University. Currently, he serves as the artistic director of SUMOVE and continues his work as a choreographer. Through his artistic practice, he explores the unconscious, translating inner imagery into movement while deepening the visual and emotional dimensions of his choreography. |
| 무용단 소개 |
수무브는 움직임을 통해 인간이 내면을 표출하는 주체적인 몸
을 탐구하며 몸 기반의 다양한 작업을 시도해왔다. ‘인간’을 주
제로 한 연작 시리즈를 통해, 인간의 본질과 동시대적 존재 조
건을 무용으로 탐구하고 있다. 예술감독 박수열의 작업은 인간
을 완성된 개념이 아닌, 시대와 환경, 감정과 관계 속에서 끊임
없이 변주되는 존재로 바라보며 매작품마다 다층적 의미를 비춘
다. 대표작품으로는 남녀관계의 폭력성을 조명한 ‘Dating
Abuse(2022)’, 학습된 감정에 대한 인간의 모순을 탐구한 ‘휴먼
(2023), 여성의 페르조나를 비춘 ’글라스우먼(2024)‘, AI사회에 대
한 비판적인 시선을 담은 ’휴봇(2025)‘ 등이 있다.
SUMOVE investigates the body as an autonomous subject that reveals inner realities through movement. Through its ongoing “Human” series, the company explores the essence of humanity and the conditions of contemporary existence. Artistic Director Park Soo-Yeol views the human being as an ever-evolving presence shaped by time, environment, and relationships. Major works include Dating Abuse (2022), Human (2023), Glass Woman (2024), and Hubot (2025), each reflecting layered perspectives on violence, emotion, identity, and AI society. |

본 작품은 한국 전통 민요의 후렴구인 ‘쾌지나칭칭’을 현대적
으로 재해석하여, 강렬한 리듬과 집단적 에너지를 중심으로 구
성된 현대무용 작품으로, 본 작품에서는 전통 민요의 후렴구인
‘쾌지나칭칭’을 ‘카시나칭칭(가시나칭칭)’으로 변환하여 사용한다.
장면 곳곳에는 한국의 굿이나 의례, 여성의 규범에서 떠올릴
수 있는 집단적 고조와 그 안에 흐르는 흥과 해학, 그리고 함께
몰입하는 신체의 상태를 차용하여 익숙한 정서와 몸의 기억을
환기시키고자한다.
This work reinterprets the refrain “Kwaejina Ching Ching” from traditional Korean folk songs into a contemporary dance piece driven by intense rhythm and collective energy. The original refrain is transformed into “Kasina Ching Ching (Gasina Ching Ching),” introducing a nuanced shift in meaning and perspective. The choreography draws inspiration from Korean shamanistic rituals and communal ceremonies, evoking heightened collective momentum. Elements of humor, vitality, and immersive physical states are woven throughout the performance. By awakening embodied memories and familiar emotions, the piece reframes traditional resonance through a contemporary lens. |
