와이즈발레단은 클래식 발레부터 Art Collaboration까지 다양한
공연예술 표현을 목적으로 2005년 창단되어 연간 100여회의 국내외
공연활동을 하고 있다. 2017년 제49회 대한민국문화예술상(대통령상),
2018 예술경영지원센터 대표상, 2022 제9회 이데일리 문화대상
무용부문 최우수상과 전체 대상을 수상하며 그 예술성을 인정받은 바
있으며, 발레STP협동조합원, 중국 광저우발레단과 몽골국립발레단
MOU단체로 예술의 즐거움을 전하는 단체이다.
Wise Ballet Theater is one of the representative private ballet company in Korea. It was founded in 2005 under the purpose of presenting various arts from classical ballet to Art Collaboration. From domestic to oversea Wise Ballet Theater is performing a ballet more than 100 times a year. Currently Wise Ballet Theater is delivering a pleasure of art as an member of Ballet STP Cooperative and also made an international cultural art communication MOU agreement with The Classical Ballet of Guangzhou China. |

1. 해적 중 그랑파드트루와 (Le Corsaire, Pas de Trrios) 바이런의 시를 바탕으로 만들어진 작품으로 그리스의 소녀 메도라가 노예로 팔려가자 해적인 콘라드가 그녀를 구해주면서 연인이 되는 내용으로 비극으로 끝나는 바이런의 시와는 달리 두 연인의 행복한 결합으로 끝맺는다. 그랑파드트루아(3인무)는 2막의 하이라이트 장면으로 해적의 대장 '콘라드'가 여주인공 '메도라'에게 사랑을 고백하고 콘라드의 충복인 '알리'가 이들에게 충성을 맹세하는 장면으로 화려한 도약과 기교를 바탕으로 무용수의 기량을 가늠할 수 있는 작품이다. It is a work based on Byron's poem, and unlike Byron's poem, which ends with a tragedy in which the pirate Conrad saves her and becomes a lover when the Greek girl Medora is sold as a slave, it ends with a happy combination of the two lovers. Grand Padtrua (three-man dance) is the highlight of Act 2, where the pirate's leader, Conrad, confesses his love to the female protagonist, Medora, and Konrad's loyal servant, Ali, vows allegiance to them 2. 잠자는 숲속의 미녀 중 오로라 공주와 네나라 왕자의 춤 (Sleeping Beauty, The Dance of Princess Aurora and the Prince of Four Countries) 프랑스의 동화작가 C.페로의 작품을 발레 역사상 가장 환상적인 파트너였던 작곡가 차이코프스키와 안무가 마리우스 프티파, 이 두 천재가 빚어낸 세계 3대 발레명작 중 하나로, 고전발레의 대표작이다. 작품 중 1막에 해당하는 '오로라 공주와 네나라 왕자의 춤'은 오로라 공주의 16번째 생일날 4명의 왕자들이 공주에게 청혼을 하러 오는 장면으로 시작한다. 이 작품은 발레의 기본기를 지킴과 동시에 섬세한 안무를 보여주는 짜임새가 훌륭한 작품이다. It is one of the world's top three ballet masterpieces created by two geniuses, composer Tchaikovsky and choreographer Marius Petipa, who were the most fantastic partners in ballet history, and is a masterpiece of classical ballet. The Dance of Princess Aurora and Prince Nenara, which corresponds to Act 1, begins with a scene where four princes come to propose marriage to the princess on Princess Aurora's 16th birthday. This work is an excellent piece of structure that shows delicate choreography while keeping the basics of ballet. |
