2005년 광안리해변에서 부산 무용인들의 간절한 소원들이 하나로 모아져 부산국제무용제가 탄생했습니다.

안녕하십니까? 20주년이 되는 부산국제무용제에 참석해주신 부산광역시 박형준 시장님과 헝가리 대사님, 페루 대사님께 감사드립니다. 그리고 바쁘신 와중에도 참석해주신 내외빈 여러분들, 무용예술인 여러분들, 관객여러분들께 진심으로 감사드립니다.

2024년은 부산국제무용제가 20주년을 맞이하는 해입니다. 2005년 광안리해변에서 부산 무용인들의 간절한 소원들이 하나로 모아져 부산국제무용제가 탄생했습니다. 부산국제무용제는 부산 무용의 역사를 바꿔 놓은 큰 족적을 남겼습니다. 부산 무용계 뿐만 아니라 한국 전체 무용계를 선도해왔으며, 수많은 세계적인 무용단들이 부산국제무용제를 통해 기량을 과시해왔습니다. 이제는 세계적인 무용단들이 부산국제무용제의 무대에서 공연하기를 원한다는 요청서들이 들어오고 있을 정도로 부산국제무용제의 모습이 많이 발전했다고 자신있게 말할 수 있습니다.

2005년에 시작된 축제 발전의 원동력은 도전과 진취, 긍정의 정신 이었습니다. 우리의 초심이라 말씀드리고 싶습니다. 이 정신은 언제나 기억하고 간직해야 한다고 말씀을 드리고 싶습니다. 그리고 20주년의 발전된 모습은 우리는 하나이며 우리가 함께 노력하면 무엇이든 이룰 수 있다는 자신감을 가질 수 있게 합니다.

참석해주신 내외빈 여러분들께 감사드리며 아울러 부탁드리고 싶습니다. 부산에서 시작된 무용축제의 역사를 기억해주시고 부산 예술인들의 노력과 헌신을 소중히 여겨 주시기를 간곡히 부탁드립니다. 그리고 20년동안 아낌없는 지원을 해 주신 부산광역시와 부산시의회, 여러 기관들의 후원과 협력에도 깊이 감사드립니다.

또한, 작년부터 후원회장을 맡아 후원 베풀어 주신 박상준 회장님과 후원회 여러분들께 깊은 감사의 말씀도 전합니다.

끝으로 20년을 이끌어 오신 원로 무용 예술인 선생님들과 선후배 무용인들에게도 감사의 인사를 올립니다. 어느 해보다 더 나은 20주년 행사 준비를 위해 애써 주신 조직위원회 여러분들과 사무국 직원들, 그리고 무대 스텝 분들, 자원봉사자 여러분들께 감사드립니다.

How do you do I would like to thank the Mayor of Busan Metropolitan City, Park Hyung-Joon, the Ambassador of Hungary, and the Ambassador of Peru for attending the 20th anniversary of the Busan International Dance Festival. Also would I like to express my sincere gratitude to all the guests, dance artists, and audiences who have been attending during busy schedule.

The year of 2024 marks the 20th anniversary of the Busan International Dance Festival. In 2005, the earnest wishes of Busan dancers were gathered together at Gwangalli Beach, and the Busan International Dance Festival was born. The Busan International Dance Festival has left a great foot print that changed the history of Busan dance. It has been leading not only the Busan dance world

Since its beginning in 2005, the driving force behind the development of the festival has been a spirit of challenge, progressiveness and positivity. I would like to say that this is our primal spirit. I would like to say that this spirit should always be remembered and cherished. And the progress of the 20th anniversary brought us the confidence that if we are one and if we work together, we can achieve anything.

I would like to thank all the guests who attended. I would like to ask you to remember the history of the dance festival that began in Busan and to cherish the efforts and dedication of Busan artists. I would also like to express my deepest gratitude for the support and cooperation of Busan Metropolitan City, Busan City Council, and various organizations for their generous support for 20 years.

In addition, I would like to express my deep gratitude to Sponsoring Committee, Chairman Park Sang-Joon and members, for their support since last year.

Lastly, I would like to express my thankfulness to the senior dance artists and senior and junior dancers who have led us for 20 years. I would like to thank the Organizing Committee, Secretariat staffs, stage staffs, and volunteers who worked hard to prepare the 20th Anniversary event better than any other years.
