툇마루 무용단이 추구하는 독특한 실험 정신과 새로운 스타일은 동서의 공통점을
지향하려는 강렬한 창작의지로 한국적인 현대 춤의 언어로 우리 춤의 세계화를 선도해 왔다.
『At the place where one takes the first step, on the narrow platform touched by the entrance, dance begins on the Tatmaroo.』 The Tatmaroo Dance Company pursues a unique spirit of experimentation and a new style. With a strong creative will to embody the commonalities of the East and West, it has led the globalization of our dance world with the language of Korean contemporary dance. |

<해변의남자>는 연작 시리즈 ‘사계’ 중 여름을 주제로 바쁜 일상에서 잠시
벗어나 휴식을 취하는 현대 남성들의 고단한 내면세계를 코믹하면서 이색적인
상황, 즉 누구도 예상치 못했던 해프닝적 요소들로 보여지지만 결코 가볍지
않은 그 이상의 메시지를 전달하고자 한다. "Men on the Beach" is a part of the series 'Four Seasons,' focusing on the theme of summer. It comically portrays the inner world of modern men who take a break from their busy routines to relax. Through unexpected and quirky elements, the narrative unfolds in a way that goes beyond mere humor, aiming to convey a message that is anything but light. |
