Haruka Hirai 히라이 하루카는 일본 출신의 안무가이자 현대무용가로서, 도쿄에서 학사 학위를, 독일 이완손 국제 현대무용 학교에서 현대무용 디플로마를 취득했다. 일본과 유럽에서 작품을 선보였으며, 솔로 작품'원 로즈'는 멕시코 쿠에르포 알 데스쿠비에르토 페스티벌에 후보로 올랐고, 일본과 독일에서'인솜니아'를 안무하고 공연하기도 했다. 2025년부터 스위스 SuiKo GmbH의 예술 감독으로 재직 중이며, 국제적으로 창작과 공연을 이어가고 있다. 2026년 3월에는 신작 솔로 작품 ‘Da’를 초연했다. Haruka Hirai is a Japan-born choreographer and contemporary dancer working internationally, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Tokyo and a Diploma in Contemporary Dance from the Iwanson International School of Contemporary Dance in Germany. She has presented her works in Japan and Europe, and her solo work One Rose was nominated at the Cuerpo al Descubierto Festival in Mexico, she also choreographed and performed Insomnia in both Japan and Germany. Since 2025, she has been the Artistic Director of SuiKo GmbH (Switzerland) and continues to create and perform internationally, recently premiering her new solo work Da. in March 2026. |

Da.는 반복되는 상태로서의 외로움을 파헤치는 현대 무용 작품이다. 자아로 돌아가는 동안에 앞으로 나아가는, 외로움과 분열감을 동시에 느끼는 상태를 반영한다. 연결과 고립이 공존하며, 안무는 날카롭고 유려한 움직임을 오가면서 내면의 불안정성을 드러낸다. 이 작품은 여러 인물들을 제시하는 대신에 하나의 몸 안에 여러 층을 드러낸다. 단선적인 이야기를 피하기 위해 ‘Da’는 변화하는 관점이 어떻게 의미를 변화시키는지 관객이 관찰하도록 이끌면서, 관객 자신만의 방식으로 고독을 경험할 수 있는 공간을 남겨둔다. Da. is a contemporary dance work exploring loneliness as a recurring state. It reflects a condition of feeling both alone and divided—moving forward while returning to the self. Connection and isolation coexist, with choreography shifting between sharp and fluid movements to suggest internal instability. Rather than presenting multiple characters, the work reveals layers within a single body. Eschewing a linear story, Da. invites the audience to observe how shifting perspectives change meaning, leaving space for viewers to experience solitude in their own way. |
